Wang Yen-nien Short Biography


  • Born in 1914 in Taiyun City, Shanxi Province
  • Graduated from Shanxi Province Military Academy in 1938
  • Fought in Sino-Japanese War until 1945
  • Fought, as a Colonel, with the Nationalists in the Chinese Civil War
  • Became Zhang Qinlin’s sworn student and studied with him from 1945 until April 24, 1949.
  • Went with Nationalists to Taiwan in 1949
  • World Yangjia Michuan Taijiquan Federation, President
  • Gold Mountain Daoist School of Internal Alchemy, 5th Generation
  • National Yangjia Michuan Taijiquan Association(ROC-Taiwan), president and chief instructor
